About Our Service

Services > Entertainment & Alcohol Licensing

Since the introduction of the 2003 Licensing Act, anyone wishing to sell alcohol or provide public entertainment has to adhere to a dual system of licensing - personal and premises licence.

All licences are "policed" by the Local Authorities and each application is subject to the views of the police, residents, environmental health. It is therefore important to receive strong, independent advice if you wish to achieve your business objectives.

Our specialist licensing team has been representing clients of the firm for over 30 years.

The team has a wide licensing client base from local independent operators of pubs, restaurants, night clubs, adult entertainment, off licences and premises with club premises certificates to large regional entertainment groups.

Types of applications currently being handled:

  • New premises
  • New club
  • Vary premises or club license
  • Transfer of premises license
  • Temporary event notices
  • Personal licence application
