The Lupton Fawcett Corporate Finance Team deals with all areas of Corporate Finance and general corporate work including fundraising (both equity and debt), mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, banking, flotations, takeovers, public company compliance, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, partnership matters (including limited liability partnerships) company formations and company secretarial compliance.

We work closely with all other departments within the firm, particularly in relation to intellectual property, commercial contracts, employment matters and personal legal services.

We compete with the major national practices which are all represented in Leeds and with other regional heavyweight practices. We are more focussed than most of our competitors on the wealth creating private sector rather than the financial institutions and public sector. We enjoy working with entrepreneurial growth companies and contributing to the management processes which create wealth for the owners. This involves a commitment to understanding the business and objectives of our clients. Transactional matters are Director led with back up from associate solicitors.
