Role of the CAFCASS Officer

Child Care

In any Children Act Proceedings referred to above, the Court will frequently Order the involvement of CAFCASS (Children and Family Court Advisory Service).

This is an independent body of either parent or Local Authority or other agency. CAFCASS as with the Courts consider the children's best interests and welfare as paramount and will frequently be directed to prepare reports setting out what CAFCASS consider to be in a child's best interests on any of the aspects referred to above.

We have detailed knowledge and experience of working alongside CAFCASS to achieve the best outcomes for your children and your family.
