Lupton Fawcett is a well-established integrated commercial law Firm with offices in Leeds, Sheffield and York.
We seek two experienced Document Production Technicians to join a newly created specialist, centralised team based in our Leeds office. Hours of employment will be 11.00am – 6.30pm (35 hours per week).
You will be joining a team that is expected to deliver a 5-star document production service producing a wide variety of documents for all areas of the practice working closely with the secretarial and executive community to ensure that work is delivered to exacting quality control standards, in a prompt manner in accordance with designated turnaround times.
You will have opportunity to develop and challenge your technical expertise. Individuals will be expected to act as an ambassador providing a technical expert support function to all areas of the Firm for all documents produced as well as supporting other DP team members.
You must be able to demonstrate that you are able to work to and meet deadlines, have the ability to prioritise your workload, whilst having a keen eye for detail with a concern for quality and accuracy. You should have good communication skills. You should also be a team player and keen to build relationships with members of your own team and those in the wider Firm.
You will need to be qualified to a minimum of 3 GCSEs including grades ‘C’ in English and Maths (or equivalent qualification and grade) and have a minimum typing speed of 65wpm.
Successful applicants need to be a confident in the use of ICT, particularly in Microsoft packages and preference will be given to individuals who have experience of using a legal case management system eg “Envision”’ or similar would be beneficial. Where appropriate full training will be provided to ensure that your skills set is maximised to the full.
You will be expected to have a flexible approach to your work in accordance with business requirements, work effectively as part of a team or independently, whilst keeping the client in mind and remaining helpful and willing at all times.
Remuneration is commensurate based on experience.
