Key appointment for Lupton Fawcett’s Private Client Team
Lupton Fawcett is delighted to announce the appointment of Amanda Simmonds who joins the firm’s hugely rated private client team, based in Leeds.
Formerly a director with DWF and previously with Addleshaw Goddard, Amanda has 27 years’ experience within the private client arena and specialises in all aspects of Wills, trusts, probates, lasting powers of attorney and court of protection matters. Her particular expertise lies in tax planning, succession planning for business families and international matters. Amanda is also dual-qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser, a STEP Yorkshire branch committee member, a Virtual Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation’s succession taxes and CGT and investment income sub-committees and a member of the international STEP Business Families Special Interest Group steering committee. This year, Amanda joins STEP’s panel of experts to judge her peers in the Family Business Adviser of the Year category in the 10th Annual STEP Private Client Awards 2015/16.
