Lupton Fawcett Agree Merger Deal with Lee & Priestley
Lupton Fawcett and Lee & Priestley, two of Yorkshire's best known law firms, have confirmed that they have joined forces.
Lupton Fawcett has acquired the business of Lee & Priestley whose partners and staff join Lupton Fawcett immediately.
The enlarged firm will trade as 'Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley' and will have approximately 270 staff with over 130 executives making it one of Yorkshire's top law firms.

James Richardson, the former Managing Partner of Lee & Priestley will join Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley's Management Board, and its Strategy Board.

Practice areas with enhanced strength include Corporate Finance, Dispute Resolution, Insolvency, Commercial Property, Employment, Debt, Family and Child Care Law. The combined firm will have additional depth in key practice areas such as Health Care, with particular emphasis on Pharmacies and Care Homes.
Whilst keen to achieve further development in West Yorkshire, Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley's will increase its focus on developing the firms Sheffield and South Yorkshire offering. Mr Marshall said: ''We are very interested to speak to first class Sheffield lawyers wanting to make themselves and their teams part of Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley's fast developing and exciting future. We fully intend to grow our South Yorkshire offering to respond to the needs of that market with the help of the best talent in that area.''
