Bob is a Consultant Member in the Corporate Finance Department at Lupton Fawcett.
Whilst Bob has historically been involved with listed companies, including IPOs, takeovers, rights issues and compliance issues (e.g. Tadpole Technology, ICM Computer Group and QS Group), Bob's main focus now is privately owned companies. This is evidenced by his involvement in a number of successful management buy-outs and management buy-ins (e.g. Taylormade Timber Products, British Thornton ESF, CSC (UK), Crossroads Commercials, IETG, and Lewis Tankers). More recently he has become involved in restructuring and refinancing work. He also increasingly acts in an advisory capacity to many companies and family shareholders with an emphasis on succession or exit planning and wealth preservation strategies.

When not at work
Bob has been married to Barbara for 28 years; they have two grown up children, Jonathan and Bryony, and have lived in Huddersfield for over 20 years.
Bob, as a former relatively undistinguished rugby union player at Morley RUFC and cricket at Horsforth CC, now follows both these sports whilst playing a mediocre game of golf at Woodsome Hall Golf Club. He enjoys going shooting in North Yorkshire, food, wine, modern history and holidays in Portugal.
