Claire joined Lupton Fawcett as a trainee solicitor in 2004 and qualified into the Dispute Management Department in September 2006. She became a Senior Associate in 2013.
Claire has expertise in a diverse range of commercial litigation and has particular expertise in dealing with property related disputes including dilapidations claims, lease renewals, possession proceedings, forfeiture, breach of covenants, boundary disputes, rent recovery and trespass. Claire can also advise on and assist clients with other commercial and contractual disputes including claims relating to breach of restrictive covenants and confidentiality, construction disputes and professional negligence claims.
Claire acts on behalf of a variety of commercial clients including retailers, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, manufacturers and banks and has built a reputation for providing practical, cost effective advice and assistance on the most appropriate way of achieving a resolution, irrespective of the nature or the value of the dispute

When not at work
Claire spends most of her free time either playing netball, which includes playing for a team in the Premier Division of the West Yorkshire League, or running with her local running club, both of which allow her to indulge in two of her other favourite pastimes, cooking and eating.
