Giles works in the Corporate Department. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, group re-organisations, joint ventures and shareholder disputes acting for multi-national companies and owner managed businesses. He heads up the firm's Care Home team, and is also a member of the Charities and Social Enterprises Group advising in relation to the incorporation of charities.
As a former Vice Chairman of the West Yorkshire branch of the Institute of Directors, and a Member of the North East Area Committee of the Association of the Partnership Practitioners he is well known in the West Yorkshire market. He is known for his experience and approachable style, and takes excellent care of his clients. Giles is a keen yachtsman and has competed in the Round the Island Race on a number of occasions; he has also taken up golf and completed a number of 10km running races.
