Meghan Waldron is a Senior Associate in the Regulatory and Corporate Defence Department at Lupton Fawcett.

What was your first job?

I worked in a little café. I wasn’t a very good waitress as I dropped a lot of things.

If you weren’t in your present position, what would you be doing?

I did consider joining the Police and being on the other side but I am far too defence biased now.

What is the worst mistake you’ve ever made?

I cut my own fringe when I was about 11 or 12. It was horrendous and I wore a hat until it grew out.

What’s your ideal day away from the office?

Going to the beach or a long hike up a mountain. It also has to involve a bakery stop and a coffee at some point!

Name one person you would like to have dinner with?

Sir David Attenborough. He has had such an incredible life and has travelled to places that I can only dream of visiting. His most recent documentaries looking at climate change and other environmental issues even turned me vegetarian!

What was your best subject at school?

I enjoyed PE the most as I have always been very active and very, very competitive.

What are your hobbies?

I am a member of X- Martial Arts school and train in kickboxing 3-4 times per week. I currently have my Brown-Black belt and I am training to get my Red-Black belt before the end of the year. I then hope to try for my Black belt next year.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

I would love to open and run a bakery. I’m not the best baker, I just really love pastries.

What is your favourite time of the day?

I am a morning person, which is lucky as I have an early rising toddler. I like getting up and out for an early morning run before the rest of the world wakes up.

What would you like your epitaph to be?

Maybe I could just have a picture of a croissant?!
