Covid-19 has affected virtually every organisation, but none more so than family businesses. This webinar will look at some of the issues family business owners need to be considering now to help prepare them for the lifting of lockdown.

As we continue to stay home, protect the NHS and save lives, at some point the restrictions will be lifted.  Whilst current events have proved challenging, businesses need to be in the best position possible to capture the opportunities that arise and to adapt to a new business world as restrictions are gradually lifted.

Our virtual seminar will discuss the key issues that we see arising, how you can prepare for them in advance and place yourselves in the best economic and financial state you can to ensure your business recovers and thrives going forward.

  • Employment – we shall look at the ramifications of a potential graduated sector specific return from lockdown, the ceasing of furlough arrangements,  health and safety concerns, salary issues, future ways of working, re-structuring and redundancies.
  • Corporate Law – we shall look at the key issues for directors in times of uncertainty and the issues around restricted cash flow.
  • Banking & Finance – we shall talk about some of the recently introduced Government-backed options for funding for businesses, and some things businesses should think about in terms of their funding arrangements as we leave a strict lockdown.

We are also very fortunate to have with us the Founder and Managing Director from Family Business United, Paul Andrews.  Paul will provide his unique insight in to Family Businesses and champions the sector at a global level.
