Prior to joining Lupton Fawcett he worked for law firms in the North West and, most recently, in the Midlands before relocating to Yorkshire.
Speaking about his new role, Donald said,
“Lupton Fawcett has gained an excellent reputation for successfully defending regulatory and criminal cases for their clients. I leapt at the opportunity to join a well-respected law firm when the role became available.”
In addition, Lupton Fawcett has promoted Wendo Chimimba to a paralegal in the RCD team.
After studying Psychology at the University of Essex, Wendo completed a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University, Leeds in 2014, then worked as a legal assistant at a UK-wide law firm.
She joined Lupton Fawcett in 2016, completing her Masters in Law and Practice at BBP University in 2018.
Jeremy Scott, Head of the RCD department, commented,
“We are delighted to welcome Donald, and to promote Wendo to the department.
“Donald’s experience will be invaluable in helping to meet the growing demand for our specialist services. Wendo has contributed enormously since she joined Lupton Fawcett and there is no doubt that she will be an excellent lawyer, and a great asset to the team.”
Managing partner of Lupton Fawcett, Jonathan Oxley, added,
“To attract a person of Donald’s calibre demonstrates the excellent reputation we have within the legal sector. Furthermore, Wendo’s promotion shows our commitment to developing talented young people and providing them with an worthwhile career path.”
