He joins with more than ten years’ experience working at international law firms, where he acted for a variety of clients, including clearing banks, private equity houses, real estate funds and borrowers including multi-national PLCs, SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
Michael specialises in corporate finance, acquisition finance and real estate finance for M&A transactions, investment and development.
Michael has been recognised for his work in the Yorkshire banking and finance community, having been described by Chambers & Partners, which identifies and ranks the most outstanding lawyers, as a ‘rising star’ and ‘a good operator who is definitely one to watch’.
Speaking about his new role, Michael said,
“The opportunity to join such a well-respected Yorkshire based commercial law firm, which has a unique geographical footprint in the Yorkshire region, and to be given responsibility to lead the development of its banking and finance practice, was too good to turn down.”
