Emma joined Lupton Fawcett LLP in 2016 as a Legal Assistant in our Personal Injury team, having completed a Batchelor of Laws degree at the University of Leeds in 2015.
Whilst handling a full case load in the Personal Injury department, Emma completed her Legal Practice Course, with a combined LLM Masters Degree in Professional Legal Practice, at the University of Law in Leeds. Emma was awarded a Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice with Distinction in August 2019.
Emma began her Training Contract with Lupton Fawcett LLP in October 2019. Emma is currently working in our Family department where she has assisted the team on a range of matters in relation to divorce and finances, private and public law Children Act disputes/applications, pre and post nuptial agreements and education matters.
Emma loves to travel and, before joining Lupton Fawcett LLP, she spent a year travelling South East Asia and Europe. She hopes to visit South America in the next year. Emma is a member of a local netball and tennis club and competes weekly. Emma is also a keen foodie and enjoys listening to live music.
