Emma joined Lupton Fawcett LLP in 2016 after completing a Batchelor of Laws degree at the University of Leeds in 2015. Whilst handling a full case load Emma completed her Legal Practice Course, with a combined LLM Masters Degree in Professional Legal Practice, at the University of Law in Leeds. Emma was awarded a Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice with Distinction in August 2019. Emma qualified as a Solicitor into the Family Department at Lupton Fawcett in September 2021.
Emma has experience advising clients in a wide range of family matters including representation in divorce proceedings and financial disputes, negotiations and settlements. Emma has regularly represented clients in a broad spectrum of children matters including both public and private law applications. Emma also advises in cohabitation disputes including Trust of Land claims and domestic abuse work including obtaining protective injunctions.
Emma loves to travel and, before joining Lupton Fawcett LLP, she spent a year travelling South East Asia and Europe. Emma is a member of a local netball and tennis club and competes weekly. Emma is also a keen foodie and enjoys listening to live music.
