Join us for a topical and informative look at current legal issues surrounding HR and employment.

HR Network – Hot topic ‘Awkward activists or forward thinkers?’ A discussion on the new era of employee activism.

Join us in looking at how best to approach a new era of employee activism at work. We will look at how your approach might be affected by the Equality Act 2010, in particular, where the employee holds a religious or philosophical belief and potential implications from protection for whistleblowers. We will also look at what you might need to consider if your employee walks off the job to join, for example, the Extinction Rebellion protest, and how you, as HR Managers and business owners should address this.

Joan Pettinghill and Ellie Leatherday from our award winning Employment Team, will run a brief talk on the latest trends within the Employment / HR Sector and offer time for discussion and questions around these hot topics and any other employment matters you require guidance on.

Registration starts from 9.00am with breakfast & refreshments with the event starting at 9.30am, we aim to finish the talk at around 10.30am.

Who should attend?

The seminar is free to attend for all HR / Employment professionals and business owners.

Our HR Network sessions are designed to be interactive with discussions based around practical and real life examples. As always, breakfast & refreshments will be provided.

Click the Book Here button on the top of the page to register your free place.  Please do feel free to circulate this event to any colleagues or contacts who may also be interested in attending.
