Business Advantage Awards Winners’ Lunch
Lupton Fawcett today (25th February) hosted a lunch for the winners of a one-year scheme to support small businesses and entrepreneurs, announced last week by Leeds Beckett University.
The Business Advantage Awards, developed in partnership with Leeds Beckett University, offers a one year package of mentoring and legal support to each winner.
The winners are former professional footballer Achille Traore, Leeds Beckett University students Tam Owen, Martin Woods and Emma Koczy, Digital Hub client Tom Martin and Enterprise and Innovation Hub clients Claire Shepherd and Karl Lenton.
Speaking at the lunch, Katie Rigarlsford, Head of the Leeds Beckett’s Enterprise Academy said: “Lupton Fawcett is a delight to work with. Not only are we partnering with them to support early stage business creation for our students, graduates and enterprise hub clients, we are also collaborating in supporting larger businesses to grow through a series of Innovation and Business Growth seminars, the first of which took place in Wakefield yesterday”.
Richard Marshall, Managing Director, at Lupton Fawcett said: “We are very proud to be associated with the Business Advantage programme which fits very clearly with our entrepreneurial ethos and focus on our owner/manager clients as wealth creators and reflects our desire to engage more widely with the Universities in the three cities of Leeds, York and Sheffield where we have offices”.
