Caroline Mockford RIP
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our friend, colleague and partner, Caroline Mockford.
A specialist in ecclesiastical law, Caroline joined Lupton Fawcett from Chattertons McKinnells Solicitors in 2014. In moving to Lupton Fawcett, Caroline stepped down as Registrar for the Diocese of Lincoln, and became the Registrar of the Diocese of York (a role that covered over 600 churches and 470 parishes), the Registrar of the Province of York and also the Registrar of Tribunals for the Clergy Discipline Measure 2003. She passed away suddenly on March 5th.
Jonathan Oxley, Lupton Fawcett’s managing partner, said: “Caroline was an integral part of the Lupton Fawcett family, and she will be missed sorely by each and every one of us. She was an extraordinary solicitor, who had a huge impact on everyone she worked with – both colleagues and clients. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, in particular her husband, Bob at this difficult time.”
