Emily is an Insolvency Executive at Lupton Fawcett LLP and joined the firm in 2014. She works in the firm's Business Recovery and Insolvency Department in the York Office and deals with all aspects of contentious insolvency, in particular personal insolvency and property related cases and investigations. Emily works closely with Nigel Whitfield, Partner and Head of Department, and assists him with his cases, including advising Insolvency Practitioners, drafting legal documents and attending court.
Emily is currently working towards Chartered Legal Executive status with CILEx and plans to do her LPC.

When not at work
Emily is a keen hockey player, travelling all over the North of England to compete in the North Women’s Hockey League, Division 1. She is Honorary Secretary of City of York Hockey Club and is an Ambassador for Sand Cloud, an organisation dedicated to saving marine life. When not playing hockey, Emily enjoys fitness, watching rugby, playing and listening to music, travelling and spending time with her family.
