Isobel is an Associate Solicitor at Lupton Fawcett and works in the firm's Business Recovery and Insolvency Department in the Sheffield office. Isobel has over four years experience in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. She works closely with insolvency practitioners, directors and owners of businesses, accountants and individuals in all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency law.
Isobel provides commercial and practical advice to clients including assisting insolvency practitioners in pursuing claims arising from insolvency estates and the merits of those claims. She handles a caseload of complex bankruptcy matters dealing with potential claims for preferences, transactions at undervalue and misfeasance actions.
Isobel prepares and presents quarterly legal update seminars to insolvency clients. The seminars are always well attended and provide clients with a useful update of recent notable cases.

When not at work
Isobel lives in Wakefield and spends her free time running around after her 18 month old daughter! In the winter months she enjoys skiing (especially in France) and in the summer can often be found watching her husband play cricket for the local team with a glass of wine in her hand.
