Jackie is a Director at Lupton Fawcett and heads the Road Traffic Accident Team within the Personal Injury Department. Jackie has a mixed caseload dealing with more complex injury cases, often where life changing injuries have been sustained. Jackie recently secured settlement in excess of £2m for a young male claimant who sustained life changing injuries in a road traffic accident. Settlement was agreed of a Provisional Damage basis.
Jackie worked in the insurance Industry prior to moving into Law and therefore has the benefit of knowing how the opposition think.
The more complex matters often take years to conclude, and Jackie believes that a good client/lawyer relationship is key to a successful outcome. Jackie works hard to build and maintain relationships. She is a firm believer that a pragmatic approach is key and would prefer to conclude claims without the need for proceedings. If litigation is required however, Jackie will pursue the matter with vigour to achieve the right result for her clients.
Jackie prides herself on being an excellent negotiator preferring to try to dispose of difficult issues over the telephone, with excellent results.

The case took three years to conclude and it was extremely comforting, reassuring and stabilising that the same person looked after and dealt with the case giving us confidence and enabled us to build a relationship with you which we deeply appreciated as it made the whole process uncomplicated. - Anon
