Samantha has worked in family law for 7 years and qualified as a solicitor in 2012. Samantha manages a wide range of cases including representation in divorce proceedings and financial settlements, cohabitation breakdown, a broad spectrum of children matters and domestic abuse work including obtaining protective injunctions.
Samantha Gunnell has successfully completed the Resolution Training to offer collaborative family law as an alternative way of resolving matters for clients who are going through divorce or separation. The collaborative process enables parties to stay in control whilst retaining a respectful relationship with each other, during and beyond their separation. Parties and solicitors agree the priorities and objectives in advance of four-way meetings. This gives clients the ability to set their own pace and manage the costs involved.
Samantha has experience in dealing with high net worth cases and more complex children matters such as removal from the jurisdiction.
Family clients are often experiencing challenging and difficult times when seeking legal advice. Samantha’s sensitive and personal approach assists clients to feel at ease. At the same time, Samantha’s professional management of the case ensures that matters are progressed promptly in a way that achieves the best outcome for the client.
