Arm injuries - What can I claim for?
An injury to one or both of your arms can have a significant impact on your life. Common causes of arm injuries include accidents involving heavy machinery, sporting injuries, and trips or falls from a height. The majority of claims are made for broken or fractured arms, but in extreme circumstances, victims can lose function or are forced to have their injured arm amputated.
As a result of an arm injury, you may be forced to have time off work, regularly receive rehabilitation treatment or make changes to your home. If your injury was due to an accident that was caused by another person's negligence, you may be entitled to compensation to cover the costs as well as compensation for the pain and suffering.
A financial payout is judged on the severity of your injury, the time it takes to recover and the long-lasting effects it has on your life.
