Angela joined Lupton Fawcett LLP as a Director and Member in January 2009.

She completed her law degree and masters degree at Leeds Metropolitan University and formerly worked for the international law firm, Hammonds (now Squire Sanders Hammonds).

Angela is a popular choice with clients, her advice having been described as "invaluable", "constructive", "effective" and "efficient".  She is noted in particular for her pragmatic approach, with client feedback stating "It has been a pleasure working with someone as competent and commercially aware as Angela" whose "responses are swift, detailed and comprehensive, as well as being tailored to our company's needs".

She acts on behalf of businesses and senior executives in relation to all employment law issues, including drafting and negotiating employment contracts and service agreements, advising on disciplinary and grievance issues, guiding client's through redundancy and discrimination cases and handling senior level termination agreements. She advises businesses on the employment aspects of their corporate transactions, including the provision of TUPE advice and regularly represents clients in the Employment Tribunal.  Angela has extensive experience of advising organisations in both the private and public sectors and has acted for a number of household names in the retail, food, IT, financial, health, care and education sectors. Angela has acted for the likes of Seabrook Crisps, Hollybank Trust, Card Factory and a number of senior individuals in the Formula 1 arena.  Angela also regularly conducts seminars and training sessions for clients.

Personal Information 

Angela enjoys globe-trotting and experiencing new cultures around the world, from Cambodia to Russia, Costa Rica to South Africa.  She can often be found trying out extreme sports (she tries most things once), listening to live music and enjoying a good bottle of wine! She is also a Trustee of Beam, a charity which helps to improve the environment in which we live supporting regeneration and providing training for schools, businesses and the public sector through public arts.
