Owing to Covid 19 restrictions, we will not be running our annual ‘Work Experience Programme’ this year. Applications for the summer 2022 work experience programme will open on our website in early January 2022. Please note we will not accept or hold any applications for 2022 in this current year.
We look for individuals who are ambitious, enthusiastic, innovative and team-focused. While the right qualifications are a pre-requisite, we work hard to find the right people with the right personality to join our unique culture and atmosphere.
We welcome speculative applications from lawyers and support staff at all levels who have drive, ambition and determination and wish to join us in our goal to become the law firm of choice in our region.
Clients expect lawyers to know the law, and to maintain our competitive edge we need to ensure that our services are delivered by a strong team. A major factor in the strength of our team is personality; the personality to work well with your team and the personality to develop strong relationships with professional contacts and clients.
Our current opportunities, including work experience and apprenticeships, can be found on this website; but if you’d like to be considered for future vacancies then please send your CV and a covering letter to recruitment@luptonfawcett.law with the heading ‘Speculative Application’.

We have a model of recruiting degree calibre individuals into Paralegal roles where they will work closely with qualified fee earners and in some instances directly with the Partners. Over recent years many of our top performing Paralegals (who having gained their LPC) have been successful in securing a training contract where they have had the opportunity to qualify into their chosen area of law.
Good qualifications are a pre-requisite, preferably a minimum of a 2:1 degree (or equivalent). Whether you have gained your LPC qualification, currently studying for it or are looking to do this in the near future, we could have the right opportunity for you. We also place great value on previous work experience and interests as we believe this will have helped develop your commercial awareness, maturity and character. In return we offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
We are also interested in receiving speculative applications for all other areas within the business including the business support functions.
