Ellie completed Lupton Fawcett’s summer vacation scheme in 2016 during the second year of her degree, before graduating from the University of Sheffield in 2017 with a 2.1 in her LLB Law with Criminology degree. She then worked as a Paralegal at Irwin Mitchell in their motor department dealing with small claims litigation, before commencing the LPC at BPP University in Leeds in January 2018.
Ellie then secured a Paralegal role at Lupton Fawcett whilst studying in summer 2018 and joined the firm in September 2018, completing her first 6 months at the firm in the Dispute Resolution department where she gained an insight into both commercial litigation and property litigation.
Ellie is currently on secondment in the Commercial Property department in Sheffield, where she assists with a range of matters including commercial landlord and tenant matters, commercial developments and secured lending and funding.
When not at work and attending/organising events for the Sheffield Junior Lawyer’s Division, Ellie enjoys going to the gym and on long walks – as she also very much enjoys going out for food and drinks with family and friends! Ellie also enjoy’s running and she is currently training to take part in the Tough Mudder 2019 to raise funds for the charity Mind.
