About Kate
Kate has over 20 years’ experience of working in the legal sector. Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2013, she has dealt exclusively with Wills and Estates disputes and regularly advises clients in all manners of disputes in this area, including but not limited to challenges to the validity of Wills and lifetime transactions following someone’s death, claims for additional maintenance from a person’s estate, advising on issues relating to trusts and executor disputes and in equitable trust, misappropriation of assets and estoppel claims. She can also advise on issues relating to mistakes made in Will drafting and potential remedies and claims.

Mediation is often used as an alternative means in resolving these disputes and Kate has extensive experience of representing her clients at mediation and in dealing with litigated cases.
The clients she has advised are wide ranging in type, from number of different clients ranging from persons seeking advice on a relative’s Will, executors requiring advice and trust corporations and can provide representation to both pursue and defend claims in this area.
She has represented clients in matters that have appeared at the Royal Courts of Justice and that have led to a judgement having been published.
Kate is a member of the Association for Contentions Trusts and Probate Solicitors (“ACTAPS”).
