Lauren is a Solicitor in the Intellectual Property & Commercial department at Lupton Fawcett.
After graduating with a First Class (Hons) in law from the University of York, Lauren moved to Leeds to take up a training contract with Virtuoso Legal, a boutique Intellectual Property & Commercial Practice. Alongside her training, Lauren studied part-time at BPP University for two years to attain a Distinction in her combined Masters and LPC course.
Whilst training, Lauren gained experience in all aspects of Intellectual Property, both contentious and non-contentious, with notable achievements including success in the Court of Appeal. Lauren was also responsible for much of the firm’s trade mark filings, including WIPO filings.
In September 2020, Lauren qualified as a Solicitor and continued to provide specialist services to her clients. Lauren gained experience in drafting various bespoke commercial agreements, including bidder terms and conditions for an auction website.
In January 2021, Lauren joined the Intellectual Property & Commercial department at Lupton Fawcett, to assist clients to create, recognise, grow, exploit and protect all forms of intellectual property. Lauren is also equipped to assist clients with a variety of commercial agreements, from reviewing and drafting to negotiating terms.
In her spare time, Lauren likes to keep active by playing tennis (slightly competitively), walking in the hills or attending Pilates classes.
