Increase in statutory family related leave pay, national minimum wage for and statutory sick pay from April 2023
According to the Department of Work and Pensions, who have recently published the annual rates increases for year 2023/24, the following rates will be increased from April 2023. The dates below are the anticipated dates for the increases to take effect.
Statutory maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental and parental bereavement pay (from 3 April 2023)
This will increase to £172.48 per week from 3 April 2023. This is currently £156.66 per week.
Statutory sick pay (from 6 April 2023)
This will increase to £109.40 per week from 6 April 2023. This is currently £99.35 per week.
Increase to national minimum wage and national living wage (from 1 April 2023)

Accommodation offset
From April 2023, the accommodation offset rate will be £9.10 per day. This rate is currently £8.70 per day.
