About Holly

Holly has 35 years’ experience, initially specialising in litigation, she has focused on employment disputes and advisory work for the last 15 years. Working closely with an insurance client on compliance issues she became interested in data protection work long before GDPR came into existence. In the run up to GDPR she particularly concentrated on assisting businesses with data protection compliance and on data protection training. Whilst her role is to seek to avoid disputes, she is an experienced advocate and a robust litigator where the need arises.

Holly also acts for individuals. In recent years she has negotiated some complex exits from local government and industry. She acts for both individuals and employers in disability and sex discrimination claims.

Francis Woodhead

Former President, Sheffield Law Society

It has been a pleasure to work with Holly. I’ve always found her to be very approachable and obliging. She responds to my requests for support in a way that increases my understanding of the legislation that we have to act on and implement. Where there is scope for interpretation or options to consider she is forthcoming in highlighting these and I have always found her willing to spend time discussing these with me. Over the years she has been really helpful and supportive.
