Zoe became a partner in the commercial property team at Lupton Fawcett LLP in October 2018. Zoe qualified as a solicitor in June 2005 and since then has dealt with a broad spectrum of commercial property transactions and has acted for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, companies, partnerships, pension funds and charities.
In addition to dealing with acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, Zoe has experience of landlord and tenant work (acting for both property owners and corporate occupiers) including drafting and negotiating complex agreements and leases together with various ancillary lease transaction documents. She has provided advice to a wide range of clients, advising in the industrial, office, retail and leisure sectors (including hotels and bars). Zoe regularly acts for both property investors and also corporate occupiers who have large portfolios of properties.
Although Zoe has worked in the legal sector since 2002 she previously worked in a number of different fields, ranging from legal publishing to investment banking. This prior experience enables Zoe to take a pragmatic and commercial approach to advising clients.
Zoe enjoys sailing, particularly when this involves sailing in sunnier climes. Zoe also likes to travel and took a career break in 2008 to live in Italy for three years, where she learned to speak conversational Italian (with a Tuscan twist).
